All you need is quality cacao powder, a microwave and zero patience, and in a matter of seconds, you have the simplest, quickest, fudgiest chocolate cake ever. This is a perfect portion size for a sneaky dessert, a fuelling pre-workout or post-workout meal, or quick and nutritous breakfast.

Filled with healthy fats from the nut butter and coconut, fibre from the banana and energy-boosting properties from the cacao, there really is no excuse to not eat this - unless you're allergic to the aforementioned ingredients of course; in which case I'm very sorry for you :(
If you lack baking skills (like me), are vegan (or paleo, carb-conscious, vegetarian, flexitarian, lactose-intolerant, gluten-free or a sweet-tooth), love gooey, warm chocolate puddings, and are addicted to the instant gratification life, this one minute chocolate coconut mug cake recipe is for you.
2 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp smooth nut butter of choice (I used almond butter)
1/8 cup coconut flakes
1. In blender or food processor, add all ingredients and blend until smooth.
2. Pour in microwave-proof bowl.
3. Put in the microwave for 60-80 seconds.
4. Devour while warm.
