Experience the healing power of community
WISDOM combines somatic practices, trauma-informed recovery support, and small-group connection to help you feel grounded, supported, and celebrated in your healing journey. Reclaim Freedom with Food and Trust in Your Body
Through live somatic practices and the healing power of community, WISDOM offers a virtual eating disorder recovery support group where you can deepen your connection to yourself and others.
This group is open to adults of all genders and at any stage of recovery. This group can support you whether you’re navigating:
anorexia recovery
binge eating disorder
bulimia recovery
orthorexia
exercise addiction or compulsion
body image challenges
disordered eating and anxiety
or simply feeling disconnected from nourishment and your body…
You are welcome here.
Unlike many support groups, WISDOM blends somatic healing tools, nervous system regulation practices, recovery education, and group sharing in an intimate container (only 8 participants) where every voice matters. You’ll gain insights and empowering, practical skills to support your healing while benefiting from the reflections and wisdom of others on similar journeys.
This group complements therapy or other professional support by offering the unique benefits of a small, relational group setting. All groups are live, online, anti-diet, HAES-affirming, and trauma-informed, rooted in acceptance, gentleness, and care.
Is WISDOM the right online eating disorder recovery support group for you?
You might be wondering if group support is the right fit. I understand this uncertainty.
Unlike 1:1 sessions, a live, small-group space allows you to connect with others who truly understand — helping you feel less isolated and more supported in your healing journey. Group members often say that hearing others’ stories gives them fresh perspectives, accountability, and a sense of belonging that’s hard to find elsewhere.
This group is for you if:
You’re actively working on your eating disorder recovery or at any stage of your healing journey
You’re ready to explore freedom from restrictive eating, bingeing, bulimia, orthorexia, exercise compulsion, body dysmorphia, or fear of food
You want to work mindfully with anxiety and self-doubt around food and body image
You’re seeking a compassionate, somatic approach to reconnect with your body and its signals
You crave meaningful connection with kindred spirits of all genders, body sizes, and life stages who truly understand
You long for balance, nourishment, and purpose in your daily life
WISDOM is intentionally kept small (8 participants) so that each member feels safe and seen. Whether you’re sharing your experiences or simply listening, your presence holds value. Because eating disorders thrive in isolation, recovery often flourishes when we’re witnessed and supported by others who “get it.”
Together, we challenge the narratives of diet culture, honour our inherent belonging, learn and embody new ways of being, and celebrate the unique wisdom within each of us.

Why I Created WISDOM
In 2009, I joined my first eating disorder recovery support group, and it was truly life-changing. Week after week, I found safety and trust in sharing my truth and listening to others’ journeys.
Each session reminded me I wasn’t alone. I saw myself in others’ stories and felt understood in a way I hadn’t before. These groups gave me invaluable gifts:
a sense of belonging and worthiness
the courage to be vulnerable and to be open to other opinions
illuminating, new perspectives that shifted my relationship with food and my body
the realization that I was worthy and whole, not broken
Through compassionate witnessing and group connection, I began to feel safer in my body and more balanced in my life. I learned to listen to my own needs and to believe in my capacity to heal.
My personal journey is the inspiration behind WISDOM. My training in somatic practices, trauma-informed recovery, and nervous system healing now allows me to offer a similar kind of care and connection that transformed my own path.
If you’re searching for a safe, online eating disorder recovery group, WISDOM could be the space you’ve been looking for.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I know if a group is right for me instead of 1:1 coaching or therapy?
Group support offers unique benefits that 1:1 coaching or therapy can’t always provide. In a group, you’ll feel less isolated and gain multiple perspectives, ideas, and reflections from others on similar paths. Many participants also find accountability and deep belonging in a group setting. If you’re unsure, you can schedule a free 30-minute call with me to discuss your needs.
2. Are eating disorder recovery support groups effective?
Yes. Research and lived experience show that support groups can be a powerful part of recovery. They help reduce isolation, normalize your experiences, and provide connection with others who truly understand. WISDOM is intentionally small (only 8 participants) to ensure you feel safe and seen.
3. What if I feel too anxious to join?
Feeling nervous is completely normal. Many participants share that they felt anxious at first but quickly discovered how supportive the group is. You’re welcome to schedule a free call beforehand, and during the group you’re never pressured to speak — listening is also a valuable way to participate.
4. Are the sessions recorded? Will what I share stay private?
No, sessions are never recorded. Everything shared in the group is confidential, and we establish and uphold clear group agreements to ensure everyone’s privacy and safety.
5. Can I join if I’m in another country or time zone?
Yes! WISDOM is a live online group, and people from different countries are welcome as long as the session time works for you. Please check the time zone (EST) before registering.
6. Who is this group not for?
If you’re currently in need of inpatient or intensive outpatient treatment, this group may not provide the level of support you need. WISDOM is best suited for those who are ready to engage in group healing and are medically stable enough to participate.
7. How do I join?
Simply reach out below to reserve your spot. Once I receive your inquiry, we’ll set up a free 30-minute call to answer your questions and ensure the group is the right fit for you.
